Data collection on this website

Contact form

When you send us an inquiry through the contact form, we store your details from the form, including the contact data you provide, to process your inquiry and handle any follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.

We process this data under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your inquiry relates to contract fulfillment or pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, we process it under our legitimate interest in handling inquiries effectively (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

The data you enter in the contact form stays with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for storage no longer applies. Statutory retention obligations (in particular commercial and tax retention requirements under § 257 HGB and § 147 AO of up to 10 years) remain unaffected.

Server log files

This website is hosted on Google Cloud (Firebase App Hosting). The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Servers are located in the EU (Netherlands, region europe-west4). A data processing agreement (DPA) per Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Google. The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits to us. These include:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing device
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

We do not merge this data with other sources. Collection is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Cookies and web analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to analyze website usage. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Ireland is a subsidiary of Google LLC, Mountain View, USA. Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission's adequacy decision of July 10, 2023 (EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Google LLC is certified under the Data Privacy Framework.

Google Analytics cookies are only set if you explicitly consent via our cookie banner (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, § 25 TTDSG). The following cookies are set: _ga and _ga_* (retention: 2 years). Data collected: pages visited, session duration, device and browser information, approximate location. IP addresses are anonymized by default in Google Analytics 4.

If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no usage data is transmitted to Google. No advertising cookies are used.

Data collection during VR training

Local data storage

All data collected during VR training sessions stays on the VR device. No automatic transfer to external servers or cloud services takes place.

Training data collected

  • First name of the student (no last names needed)
  • Completed scenarios and timestamps
  • Decisions made within training scenarios
  • Error logs for performance review

Purpose and legal basis

This data serves training evaluation by the supervising instructor only. We process it under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).

Data sharing

We only receive training data in anonymized form, for evaluation purposes, and only with explicit consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

Storage duration

Training data stays on the device until the instructor or driving school deletes it.

Your rights as a data subject

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
